Yeah, nice gift.
Thank you Philippe, Niclas, Julien, and a merry Christmas for all you.
The Rhodes is a bit different, since there is no strings, but metal bars to resonate. Both are electro acoustic I think.
The earlier versions of Pianoteq can't run this new add-on. I think it's a good idea keep something like that, with periodic updates and new Add-ons requiring the main software update to run. This way it's bether to fight piracy.

And this Jerry Lee Lewis performance of a kind similar model: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Cgn5JDEak
But I'm curious about the controls on the left side. Could pianoteq add those original controls to a full model reproduction able to do original adjustments?
May I ask help for someone explains how those original controls changes the sound?
Great gift. Love the sound, and thanks for creating both the original and the restored version.
Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
Pianoteq is quickly going from being my No. 1 practice piano to be a sonic toolbox useable in all kinds of settings... I've recently had reason to admire how well the S. Erard fits in all sorts of jazz and blues mixes. And now this!
The default CP80 presets are a bit mushy for my taste, but upping the hammer hardness instantly gave me that symphonic rock punch-through I crave.
I think I can put my Hollow Sun CP70 samples out to pasture now!

I think it had a built-in chorus. (It was either that or a tremolo.) Not really something I'll expect to ever see inside Pianoteq...
