Looks white, all right.

I prefer my speakers facing skyward (though I've added smaller ones facing me as I still needed a little direct radiation) - the ambience sounded better to me this way.  When I had your set-up, it was too directional, didn't sound real when I moved my head around as I played, and it was too tiring on my ears.

Very true. I played a Yamaha portable grand (GHS action) a couple of days ago which had upward facing speakers. Sounded marvellous!!!

Dear all,

Above links to a video demoing latest adjustments. There is not a great dynamic range but definitely most level in terms of velocity response to date. Of course, as usual, I will need to double check but hope the video will be at least interesting anyhow.
