Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2016 - INSTRUCTIONS

Hello but I could neither access YouTube nor create any Google account as I'm in China now. Can I instead upload the video to Chinese video websites like Tudou, etc.? Thanks.

Yes, in your case we can accept that, as long as it concerns a website where it is free to view your video clip, without any requirement of membership or subscription. You should also explain in your post why you are not using Youtube. Good  luck!

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2016 - INSTRUCTIONS

Just to be sure, since I'm finishing my performance in these hours, to which time zone do you refer with the 31 october's limit?

Thanks

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2016 - INSTRUCTIONS

The deadline is Oct. 31 midnight... but what GMT ?     I could use a couple extra hours.  I'm -6 GMT / Central.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2016 - INSTRUCTIONS

I'd guess it's according to France's timezone, which is GMT +/-0

Hard work and guts!

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2016 - INSTRUCTIONS

To quote an admin post from last year's (2015) contest:  "Yes. We close for new entries when the voting begins, on Sunday 1 Nov at 9am CET (Central European Time)."

So... if the game is the same, that would make the deadline 1 AM Central Time USA.  Everybody will have to do their own math...
