Is that possible a to create nice digital version of this beatiful music, trying to follow the same notes, arrange, using only pianoteq instruments ?

-Vibes and piano are no problem.
-Streel pans with some equalizing and hammer adjust could get a good percursion to try to replace drums.

But what would replace the clarinet?  The Hybrid piano/organ of D4 ?

A clarinet has a lot of odd harmonics so if you load this .fxp,  you will see the settings for the harmonic sliders and then, of course,  other things such as making the strings decay the longest possible,  no clicks, hammer noises, pedal noises or action noises . . move the strike point towards the middle of the string to minimize upper order harmonics  . . etc. etc.

LTECpiano - your clarinet fxp sounds pretty good in your demo, but none of the 3 uploaded fxp files (which are identical) worked for me - got a message to upgrade my version of Pianoteq (which is standard 4.2.1 - do I need the Pro version to use this fxp file?).

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

Lanny's (LTECpiano) claritec sounds nice.

Pianoteq forum appears to have some problem about upload some files.  It's the second time someone tried to upload a fxp and that didn't work

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

The problem with LTECpiano's fxp files was that they were generated by a beta version and thus cannot be loaded in the regular version. We have removed those incompatible fxp files from the Fxp Corner, we are sorry for that. LTECpiano, could you please build new fxp files on the regular version and post them instead? That would be very kind.

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

BTW, please note that we recently added the possibility to display data associated to an fxp when a link to an fxp file from the Fxp Corner is included in a post. For example, here is a link to Gilles "Bluethner_Bosendorfer290" fxp:
http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/uploads.php?id=1642

As you can see, it displays more information than the pure content of the post which is in fact:

BTW, please note [...] here is a link to Gilles "Bluethner_Bosendorfer290" fxp:
http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/uploads.php?id=1642

As you can see [...] when really posted!

Aouch, that's a bit recursive . Note that you won't see the full content of your post in preview mode, it will appear only when really posted!

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

Hey Hey... a beta version is going on...
People are probably asking if it's a new pianoteq version with some alterations, or if it's another add-on.

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

That Bluthner Bosendorfer (?!) demo MP3 sounds very good - thanks!

Greg.

Re: Moonglow all by pianoteq. Is that possible???

I bet giles had a lot of work creating this fxp.

Gilles, how did you?  By com paring to a bosendorfer sampler and adjusting pianoteq note by note to try to get a similar sound?

Actually, it took me about 30 minutes... I used the software I wrote in 2010 and a GigaStudio Bösendorfer sample library I already had. See here : https://sites.google.com/site/ptqspecprof/software

The pdf explains how it can be done. Glad you liked it!
