Topic: Pianoteq 3.02 + Windows X64 + Cubase SL3 ?

A lovely combination.

Bought a new computer, bought a new PCI soundcard, bought some new stuff, and got left with no budget to update anything else. (Thankfully Modartt is providing free updates! ).

So I put cubase SL3 (32-bit) into Windows XP X64 (64-bit of course), and I'm trying to run Pianoteq x64 in there.

Only it won't show anywhere.

It's missing from the list of VSTs, while everything else is there. I did copy the dll, pretty much everywhere, and I did reinstall pianoteq, but in no vain. Pianoteq is not there.

Sure I could start the midiyokle or however is called business but it seems a lot of hassle, when I used to have it fine in there showing in my old P4 computer, and Windows 32-bit.

Thank you for reading.

You need a 64-bit host to load a 64-bit plugin, of course. Try loading x32 Pianoteq.

Or just ditch Cubase and use Sonar 7 or 8, which is natively 64-bit.

Hard work and guts!
