Topic: Consistent repeated pp chords - achieveable?

Is there a way I can improve the velocity consistency with repeated p or pp chords? For example, if anybody is familiar with Chopin's Prelude op 28/4 in E min, there are repeated LH chords that need this treatment but I find it difficult to avoid a nasty f or ff creeping in. The obvious answer is to get to play better and have more control but in acoustic mode this is much easier to achieve.

I usually always use Grand C2 medium unaltered as I find this the most realistic classical piano sound- or most other style to be honest.

Incidentally, pre-PT when using a Roland XV synth I gave up playing pieces such as this on it, PT is a vast improvement.

Hi Paul

You might try to change Pianoteqs velocity curve to your needs...
so look in what velocity-range your struck chords are and then lower velocities next to that area a bit, although it will obviously affect the overall playability somehwat.

In principal... yes you'd have to get a more consequent velocity control while playing, but trhat's easier said than done
