Topic: Transposition

One feature common on electronic keyboards is transposition, i.e. the played notes are transposed up or down +/- 1 to 11 semitones, plus 0 to 2 octaves. The main use for me of this feature is for accompanying vocal music, either proper pieces or vocalises, because every singer has a preferred pitch range.

Such a facility would be useful in Pianoteq, to me at least, provided it was quick and simple to adjust the setting.

Or is there another way to do this?

Re: Transposition

You could do this in conjunction with a sequencer like Logic or Cubase..ie if Paintoeq runs as a plugin or virtual instrument, adjust the midi transposition for the channel you are currently playing it from.......or learn to play in different keys ;>
