Topic: Bechstein Sustain volume

There seems to be something wrong with the Bechstein model. At least it appears so to me. The Bechstein model is the only model where the volume goes up when the susteain pedal is used. And I don't mean the normal way sustain obviously raises the volume as more strings resonate.

Simply play and hold a chord and then press the sustain pedal (don't play any additional notes after pressing the sustain pedal). Notice how the volume goes up when the sustain pedal is pressed?

Having never heard a Bechstein before, I can't be sure that this is not as designed, but somehow I don't think so. NI's Akoustik Piano's Bechstein doesn't behave this way, anyway.

Re: Bechstein Sustain volume

you are right, one parameter in the model was set to a wrong value. It is now corrected and the new version is uploaded on our site. Thank you for having pointed this problem to us and for your assistance!
