Anyone tried using a Kurzweil K1000 as a controller for PianoTeq?

I ran across one of these old keyboards the other day, and had mixed feelings about the feel of the keys. The feel of the action was good, but the keys seem to have a slightly shallow bed--they hit the bottom fast. I was only playing the presets in the store, though.

Anyone have one that you use with PianoTeq? (Is the velocity sensitivity accurate? Can you control the velocity enough for Pianoteq, despite the shallow key bed?)
