Topic: Preset bug or user error?

I just stumbled across this inconsistency, I hesitate to call it a bug but I can't figure out what's wrong so...

I went to load this .fxp which uses the Erard as it's base, as you can see Pianoteq won't load the fxp because it says the Erard isn't available, clearly the Erard is loaded so what can be wrong? All I can think is I may have made the preset using the PTQ2 version of the Erard because originally I hadn't realised we should download new versions.

Any thoughts about how I investigate this?

Re: Preset bug or user error?

Do you have KiViR.ptq addon installed? Also, do you have the latest PTQ 3.0.1.?

It shouldn't do such things anymore, this new version.

Hard work and guts!

Re: Preset bug or user error?

Yup this is version 3.0.1 with the KiViR.ptq installed. The preset was created with 3.0.0 and may have used the version 2 Erard as I said, I really can't remember now.

Re: Preset bug or user error?

Then try to install the old (standalone) Erard add-on too?

Hard work and guts!

Re: Preset bug or user error?

Good thinking! That was the problem it was looking for an earlier version of the Errard. Thanks for your help!

Re: Preset bug or user error?

No prob, man, glad to help. Now resave the preset (write down all the settings and transfer them) with the new Erard.

Yup, I'll do that!
