Is there any way to change the model (C3 to Erard etc.) while keeping the miking setup?

Classic case of RTFM?

Yes, classic case of RTFM.

Click on the checkmark icon (next to Preset manager) and you have all the settings available to select which will NOT be affected by the preset change and randomization. Click on All microphone settings and Set as default. Voilá!
