Topic: pronounced overtones on K2 C2?

hi guys,

newbie here... please be patient.  I have PTQ 6 Stage.

in K2 (which I love), if I slam on C2 (two octaves below middle C), i get a very strong overtone.

Does anybody else hear this?

to me, it kind of ruins the note.  an overtone is present but not as pronounced in Bb1.

in Steinway D this effect seems to happen on Bb1, though not as bad as C2 in K2.

Maybe you experts have good reasons why this is correct and desirable.  Or maybe this is something you know how to adjust.

Slam? How hard are you playing?

Pianoteq 7, all the pianos , a  Casio:  Px-560M, PX 3000, (2) PX350's, Mac i27 and MacBook Pro, Focusrite, Scarlette 18/20 and a bunch of speakers and headphones

I hear the effect if I play the note strongly, like in a root bass note of a blues bass line.

I am bumping this because it's hard to believe others are not having an issue with this.

C2 in K2 is pretty bad in a bass line context.

If it hit C2 with any power, i get a strong overtone ringing, that seems to have an amplitude as strong as the primary note.

Can you test this?

(I am playing the bass line in Joe Cocker's Feelin Alright:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoAO0851FwA)
