Topic: Pianoteq on "recycled" Samsung phone

Hi all!

I read that it is possible to install Ubuntu Linux on a rooted "android" phone. Has anyone tried to install Pianoteq on such a device? I am hoping to recycle my slightly defective Samsung alpha (defective internal charger) into a dedicated Pianoteq device. If I read well that phone uses ARM architecture. Thanks in advance!

PS. if I missed a previous post about the same thing please kindly point me there!

Re: Pianoteq on "recycled" Samsung phone

Once I wanted to install linux on an old phone, there is an app called 'linux deploy' but it is not a real instalation, the system runs on the android kernel or something like that... I don't believe it will work properly this way.

But at that time, there were no way of installing native linux on a android device, the only case of native linux running was on a Asus Transformer... only screenshots in xda developers forum (If I my memory is not failing).

I would be a very good option, I have an old quite powerful Samsung phone too.
