Topic: Harpsichord

OK still trying the demo - haven't really liked the pianos but loving the Rhodes Wurli, Harpsichord and the microtuning ability. i'm looking to get this as a replacement for Ivory.

Anyway, i just wanted to comment on the Harpsichord and make a suggestion. It may be that Pianoteq can already do what i'm suggesting (if it can please tell me):

My Kurzweil PC88 has a lovely Harpsichord sound, but the one thing that gave it that extra realism was a note of 'clack' - if you released the keys faster than normal you heard the 'clack' of the plectra (or whatever it is in a real Harpsi) as it settled. It was a great little feature and i wonder if Pianoteq can do this or if the developers might think of including it in a future update.

Re: Harpsichord

It's there. That sound is there. Listen with headphones. It's subtle, but it's there.

Now, TWEAK. Go to ACTION tab (in the EFFECTS section), and increase KEY RELEASE NOISE to your content. Can you hear it better now?

Hard work and guts!

Re: Harpsichord

Cheers. Sorry haven't RTFM yet, just wondered if it was the sort of thing that would be in there as i couldn't hear it.

Re: Harpsichord

The Blanchet harpsichord sounds nice in the trial, thanks for including it

Noticed that there is a Grimaldi too for the customers.

Any plan to add a virginal?

This one is nice

Is it allowed to post an example in mp3 format?
