Topic: "FXP" vs. Preset

Hi,

This is more out of curiosity than anything else.

How are the MODARTT supplied presets different than a user created FXP? Are presets simply differently packaged FXP? In other words, take the new C2 Concert available in the 2.1 beta, does this involve more than just adjusting the parameters available to us mere mortals, or is there significant re-modeling involved as well?

I guess the question becomes: can we create our own "presets" (only they are called FXPs in that case)?

Best Regards,
Kris

Re: "FXP" vs. Preset

Pianoteq models are diferent in sound and in basic compositions. You can't adjust one models by moving sliders, to get the sound of other preset model.

     Make a experiment yourself:

If you hold the key shift  while with a preset (exemple: M2 concert) and call other preset, still holding shift, the new preset wil appears with the sliders parameter adjust of the old preset. But the sound will not be the same of the first preset.

     Try yourself...  :-)
