Topic: Jazz Improvisations

Friends, here is a video from my YouTube channel. All of the solo improvisation on the channel use Pianoteq.
Most people think it's an acoustic piano!

Oh, my.  I have missed Marian McPartland and wonder now, if she influenced you and your playing style.
That was a most incredible rendition and I enjoyed it very much.
Indeed, hauntingly melodic and gently engrossing.
Thank you.

Re: Jazz Improvisations

Beautiful and inspiring. Great performance.

May I ask what brand and type of piano keyboard you are playing in the video?

The Pianoteq instrument (whichever you are using) sounds extremely, convincingly like a recorded acoustic piano.

Great job.

Re: Jazz Improvisations

Yes Marian McPartland a very underrated and beautiful pianist.
I love her interviews with other players, in fact I was listening to her talk with Teddy Wilson earlier this year.
I'd never thought of her as an influence, but others are often better judges of what they hear in ones playing.

My piano is a Roland FP50 which I've only had a few week and am enjoying very music

Thanks both for your kind comments and for taking the time to listen.
I try to put up new recordings on YouTube every few weeks.
Please do subscribe.
best wishes
