Topic: Is there an editor for .ptq file?

Is there an editor for .ptq file?  What does .ptq file contain other than action / hammer / pedal noise?  I'm just curious.

By the way, this is a great software!  I went through several piano samples in the past and finally settle on pianoteq.  The latency is excellent (for some reason pianoteq is more responsive than my software samplers - gigastudio and kontakt player with the same sample rate & buffer size).  Dynamic range is enormous.  It feels, behaves and sounds like the real deal.  I wished that pianoteq came out 5 years ago and I could've saved a bundle on the piano samples I'll never use

Re: Is there an editor for .ptq file?

Thank you for the kind words! There is no editor for the ptq files, which contain many thousands of parameters that define the physical model, a few of them being available through the interface (a bit like an iceberg). In the future pro version under construction, more of them will be editable, with possibility to adjust the current parameters for single notes.
